I have a TNR program now 30-40 cats and even though they live out doors I love them and want to give them the best wet food twice aday to battle the cold of winter to the cat days of summer.. Friskies Prime Filets are meaty and lots of gravy. They like it so much I can sneak their vitamins and hairball medications in it. .Every plate I put down gets licked clean and that is important to me. My cats love the verity of flavors and I love seeing them like what they eat. A HUGE +++ was FREE SHIPPING right to my door. Pretty sweet ,TRY IT whether you have 1 or 40 cats this is a affordable and well made product :)

I feed my cat a can of this product per day. I used to feed her more dry food, but I learned that too much dry food is detrimental to a cat's overall health and they need the moisture that wet food provides. So she is eating 30 cans per month -- it's much more convenient and cheaper to order the 24-pack and never have to worry about giving out.

My cats used to eat this type of food every day, but they got tired of it and now I'm using the fishy flavors for now. Otherwise, when they did eat it, they had no problem cleaning their bowls. In fact, for some reason, they liked the "fillets" instead of the "shreds" and the "Pate"

My one year old cat has as already had surgery for gall stones. The Friskies, in addition to the Science Diet cat cd gives her the extra moisture required to hopefully prevent future surgeries. My Veterinarian suggested this product to be mixed in with the dry food. The box arrived with 4 cans smashed open. Had to toss them making this purchase less than a bargain. Hardly worth the time and gas to return for a refund. Unfortunately I have had several damaged products shipped from Walmart. Their shipping department needs some help with their quality control.

    • A. The foods that are in gravy are shredded, or at least the ones I have tried so far have been. The cats love this food and it's easy to get out of the can and eat.

    • A. They are shredded filets- just the right "bite-size" for cats. (Not solid filets like the fish filets that you would buy for yourself at the seafood store).

    • A. It's a combination of big and smaller pieces that are like fork shredded, not the processed shreds they also sell. I don't like the bigger pieces, the cats tend to leave them on the plate, so I have to break them up for them. But, larger cats may not mind them. My cats like the taste of these better than some of the others.

    • A. Dear Betty, the only difference that I could figure out is whether your cat likes one better than the other. That and whether your cat's teeth are in good shape.

    • A. I feed my cats dry food because the crunchiness helps keep their teeth cleaner. I have 2 cats and I split one small can of wet food between them every evening. The rest of the time they get dry food and that sits out for them 24/7 so they're never hungry.

The main ingredients (besides added vitamins - quite a few of them), as an example for the Turkey Dinner in Gravy, prime fillets include: "Turkey, Liver, Wheat Gluten, Meat-by products, Soy Flour, Corn Starch-Modified, Artificial and Natural Flavors...."
