Frigidaire's 12,000/11,700 BTU Thru-the-Wall air conditioner is designed to fit most existing wall sleeves and includes a standard universal interior trim kit. New wall sleeves or optional window mounting kits are sold separately. This unit has three fan speeds, four-way air direction control and cools rooms up to 640 square feet. It also has electronic controls with a temperature sensing remote giving you the choice of controlling the temperature with the remote or at the unit. The anti-bacterial filter reduces bacteria, room odors and other airborne particles for a comfortable environment. With Energy Star efficiency this unit provides savings along with cool, quiet comfort.

A little misleading Great A/C....good price.....we were not told in the specs anywhere that it is 220 only. Had to have a new electrical line run to be able to use it. 04/28/2011
Great Air Conditioner This is a great thru wall unit so far. I have used it twice, when it wasn't that hot out yet, seems good. Fits in the shorter 14 1/2 inch height wall sleeve that our landlord had in the wall of this old building. I didn't find any other brand that was shorter than 15 1/2 inch height for the thru wall air conditioner so I was glad to have found this one. It cools my apartment which is probably six hundred and some sq. ft. It comes with a grill to put in the back in place of the one on your sleeve, but I didn't do it and it's still okay. It works in our 220 volt wall plug. There is the same one for the 120 volt that is a different model number (FRA 124HR1). The price was way more than I wanted to pay for an air conditioner, but it does cool our entire apartment so far. We will only have a problem if it doesn't cool it when it's really hot out, but I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet on a really hot day. 04/07/2012
