Rated 5 out of 5 by HollywoodCitizen Works far better than I expected This portable A/C is an exceptional value. I was expecting it to relieve some of the heat and humidity. From the first time I hit the " On" button it has amazed me. The exhaust hose is a little rigid, so line everything up first and attach the slide-on end to the machine after attaching the end that fits to the window panel and it is much easier, you'll understand this completely when you start to install it. I bought 7000 BTU model to cool just my bedroom and after a few days realized that it easily cools my 14 x 16 bedroom and a 14 x 20 living room as well. I have been using it for over a month and can say that this "made in America" product surpasses all expectations. Buy it ! 09/10/2012
