It is important To rake the crystals foroptimal performance. Raking involves mixing up the litter with a scooperso the crystals are properly aerated And evenly distributed. Dispose ofsolid waste in trash. Do not flush. Your cat should easily adjust tofresh step crystals. However, if your cat does have problems adjusting,try mixing fresh step crystals with your current litter for about a weekto ease the adjustment. Pour fresh step crystals in the bottom Of aclean litter box, filling To half Of what you normally would use. On topfill the rest Of the box To its normal level with your usual litter,mixing as you add. When your cat has settled into a normal litter boxroutine, you'll know that your cat has adjusted. Now refill with onlyfresh step crystals And follow the usage instructions.

Best Cat Litter Fresh Step Crystals has been my favorite for 3 years. I switched from clumming litter to crystals and the maintenace is so easy.
