FreeStyle Freedom Lite Meter 3 3
Small and wonderful This meter replaced the Freestyle Flash meter yet they added some new features. It now shows 7, 14 & 30 day averages. That can be very helpful. The only thing I dont like is that the old meters showed the time. This one will record the time of testing but I liked having the clock available.Overall this meter is wonderful. Its small so it fits easily into a purse or pocket. Uses the smallest blood sample which is always a big help. But the size and accuracy of this meter are what will keep me from ever wanting to change to another. 07/06/2008
Best meter on the market ! One of the many great features of this meter is that if you do not get enough of a blood sample, it gives you 60 secs to do so. Largest numbers on display available, 7.14,30 day average. Alarm 4x a day to remind you to test. Smallest amount of blood sample .3ul. Another great optional feature is the optional C0-Pilot software. It is free at ABBOTTS website. Usb tranfer cable is extra. With the Co-Pilot software, you can download readings to a computer . I do this on a laptop and bring to doctor so we can go over infor on several graphs. The BIG PICTURE! The software and this meter is AWSOME. Not sure I could have gotten a rebate, but it asked for too much personal info, so I let it go.I have another meter and FreeStyle reads 10-15 points lower than my meter and my meter has a testing solution, so I don't want to be relying on this meter as primary. one of the features of the FreeStyle is that it has no testing. 01/14/2011
