I just bought the Gallon size and they do offer a Quart size bag too.

Yes. I just bought the Gallon size and the hand held is the only way to use them. The Quart size was also offered.

Yes. I got mine at Walmarts. Sometimes they are out, but yes they are available.

Yes there is. Just search for quart size. You get 18 of them. Same type as the gallon, but no bottom for standing.

Do you have quart size bags made specifically made for the Food Saver handleld Vacuum sealer?

They are great for freezer. The bags are thicker material than any others out there. I dehydrate a lot of foods, so after I take out what I need, I just use the vac again on same bag and end up with a tight seal again.

Months ago I called Foodsaver as I also wasn&#39;t sure if these zip bags were good for the freezer. The woman there informed me that they were NOT made for the freezer but for the refrigerator or the pantry. Even so, wherever you put them, check them periodically as sometimes the need to be re-sealed. I use mine often for deli meats and they often stay nice and sealed for days. Be advised that if you are using them for deli products, lunch meat with water ( such as most hams ) when vacuumed, will make the inside of the bag wet. Other than that, it works pretty good.

I just bought the Gallon size bags and they HAVE to HAVE a hand held sealer.

It works with a specific hand held. The one I have/use is the Fresh Saver. Zoom in on the picture of the box, it will show the kind.

These resealable bags are great for sealing and keeping bread fresh. I like them for breakfast items such as pancakes, waffles and muffins. Also great for storing vegetables such as carrots and celery. Just open the bag, take out the portion you need and then reseal.

Zipper Gallon Bags

Handy gallon size. I like that these can be reused a few times. It's so much better than having to cut the tops off the bulk bags, &. . . you can use hot products in here. You can't in some of the containers, with out cracking them.

Do make sure that the zip seal is clear & clean, & that the product doesn't puncture the bag. Sometimes that just happens (like shredded wheat).

The price isn't bad, & these bags really hold up well. I would like to see larger sized bags, & will experiment with Boil in bag cooking when I get the chance. I don't expect them to be freezer friendly, but they don't claim to be that either.

With a bottom for standing

I love these bags and the hand held vac. what's great about these bags is you can take out only what you need, and revacumm the rest. I also disinfect the bags with soapy bleach water, hang upside down to dry, and reuse many times. You can't so this with the other sealing systems. So you might think the bags are overpriced, but not when you get 5-6 times more uses than other bags.

I previously purchased these from you.  These bags are "very good" frozen foods storage bags.  They keep away "ice burn" if the food is cooked within a certain period of time., (3-4 months).  I have kept some foods longer with these bags.  Also, you don't necessarily need a vacuum food machine for these to work well.

Good Purchase

I have used these bags with my hand held sealer for years and know they've saved me thousands over the years by saving at the store on bulk purchasing then being able to freeze a lot of it to use whenever I need it with no worry of freezer burn.

Saving a ton of money!  Love these bags

Love using the zip bags. I wrap my pieces of meat individually in plastic wrap, place 3 or 4 in the zup bag, then freeze. When I need the meat, I just take out one at a time, zip the bag back up and place back in the freezer. So much easier than sealing the meat individually.

Handy for meats

We have been using these bags for years to package meat, seafood and other food to protect from freezer burn.  They do a wonderful job.  They are no longer available in our nearest store.

Food Saver 1 gallon zipper bags

although i am a Foodsaver fan...it has always been a disappointment, no matter Qt or Gal. sized zip locks.....that some leak air, even though new out of the package. i was,h and reuse them since they are a bit pricey. Some hold air well after many uses, others leak air on first use. I don't understand what the problem is. i retry multiple times before I mark them with an X and use them for thongs i don't need to be vacuum sealed.

I rated these bags with 3 stars as they tend to leak from the zipper and will loose their vacuum in the freezer, defeating the purpose of the seal. To get them to seal properly you have to work the zipper back and forth and test it before using the sealer pump.

I have had terrible success getting the 1 gallon size to stay sealed. The quart size has done quite well but not the gallon.
I will try a few more bags but at this point I am very disappointed.

Will not hold vacuum seal.
