No freezer burn--always fresh!! Before I purchased the freezer bags my meat always had freezer burn. This is no longer the case since I've purchased the freezer bags from "FoodSaver." Now my meat is always fresh and never has freezer burn! The meat can be in my freezer for one year and is always fresh! I've saved money by using this product and I don't have to go to the butcher every week or two. Savings not only on my meat but also on gas drivng to the butcher. 06/21/2011
Use it for saving Meats I like using this to store BBQ'd meats for later. The 8" rolls are perfect for pork baby back ribs, the 11" rolls work for pork spare ribs, pork butts, and beef briskets 06/21/2011
Economical way to keep food fresh The rolls are much more economical than the bags (although those are convenient) with just two extra steps (cutting and sealing), but you get the benefit of making a custom-size bag (you don't always need a quart or a gallon bag). They keep food fresh as well as the bags. I've had a few that lost their seal, but I'm not sure if that's the bag/roll issue or the seal itself. Overall, the Foodsaver system saved me a lot of money (I can now buy things like cheese in bulk and it keeps fresh for weeks after opening when stored in the Foodsaver bags). 06/21/2011
