Light weight and easy to use as a holding stand. Not steady enough to do repairs, easly knocked off balance. I purchased it to park my bike on. 10/09/2011
Performs as intended. Holders pivot so that you can set the bike in a preferred position for ease of exit. I had to pull the holders apart to make the space wider for my bolts, then had to push them in a bit because I pulled them out too far. Not difficult to adjust. If you don't have another dedicated set of hands, you'll need this to tune your rear gear shift. 08/02/2011
Great Inexpensive Bike Stand! This stand is flexible enough to fit on my road bike rear wheel quick release after re-positioning the quick release handle and prying the stand outwards. It is adjustable enough to raise the wheel/tire off the ground to where I can turn the pedals to do maintenance on the chain. I wouldn't recommend using it as a trainer, though it probably is strong enough to support someone sitting on the bike it supports. I bought two of these to store my road bike. It's an unconventional bike that doesn't have the usual triangle shape frame that could be hung by the top tube. This stand allows me to store the bike by its quick release hubs. I did have some trouble with the front, or the fork of the bike. It was too narrow and required additional adjustment of the notched plastic brackets of the stand where the hubs sit. 08/02/2011
Supports my heavy electric bicycle. I bought this to work on my Currie eZip Trailz electric bicycle. The bike has a Derailer guard to get past on one side and a small outboard electric motor to get past on the other. Once I figured out how to do this (fold closed, push stand onto bike rear axle nuts, roll bike back over one leg of stand, open other leg of stand, lower bike onto both legs), it worked fine. The Currie is quite heavy at 68 lbs, so I am guessing that the stand would be excellent for normal, lighter weight bikes. Oh, a stool comes in handy since the bike is only lifted a few inches off of the ground. 06/27/2011
