No. This is a primer. You wear this over you moisturizer and under your foundation, bb cream, cc cream, ect.

It definitely can double for a light moisturizer in Spring and Summer on normal skin. I use it even if I am not using foundation. It also layers well over another day moisturizer in dryer, colder months. It is undetectable when it dries, your skin just feels incredibly smooth and soft.

The way it feel when applying it on, it could be. It is sooooooo smooth.

It is a moisturizer. It is a very light formula, and after it setting on your face, you won't feel it other than the smoothness of your skin.
It is not heavy at all.

It's not really a moisturizer--its supposed to help your face makeup/foundation spread more evenly. It does not feel thick at all! I hate the feeling of anything heavy on my face and you can't feel this at all once it soaks in.

It is to be put on before makeup. It is VERY light and non-greasy. It literally glides on, dries fast and you barely know it's there. I loved it.

It is a moisturizer as well as a primer, according to the label. To me, it was very smooth and not thick at all. Not like any moisturizer I've used. This completely soaked up into the skin for an even finish. Its not noticeable in any way to people that see you, except they may notice your face looking softer and smoother than it had previously. This should be applied before you put your make-up whether day or night.

This primer should be applied after first washing your face and applying a good moisturizer. It only takes about a dime sized amount to get the job done. It does not go on too thick and it left my skin feeling smooth. It didn't feel like my skin was smothered. After you apply to your face, let it set for about 30 seconds before applying foundation. For a moisturizer, I use Nivea Original Moisture lotion.

After a face wash, under your foundation. Hope this helps.

Apply primers after moisturizing and before applying your foundation.

I have applied it both over my face cream or moisturizer and when I was pressed for time just used it as a moisturizer and primer. You really don't need a moisturizer you can just apply it on a clean face in the morning under makeup.

I wear it all the time. When you go to sleep just hold the button till you see sleep mode then in the morning push it again for wake mode

No, it does not. From everything that I have read, Drew Barrymore was a stickler when they were formulating this line of skincare/cosmetics and and she required the best organic ingredients. Nothing on the bad list. It is one of the few primers without talc, which should also be avoided if possible.

It's my understanding Ms. Barrymore ws very particular about the ingredients that went into the product to make itr safe for as many people as possible. I doubt it contains any harmful parabens. I understand more information on her product(s) will be forthcoming.

I do not usually use primer or even wear makeup on a daily basis but I do like Flower In Your Prime perfecting primer. It has a light consistency; it is not oily or overly drying. The smell is on the strong side so if you are sensitive to flowery smells check it out before buying. I like the way it makes my skin feel even without makeup. Its light consistency goes on smoothly and makes your skin feel softer to touch. My skin has a lot of problems with years of acne leaving countless scars and enlarged pores as well as oily T-zone but I found that Flower In Your Prime helps the foundation cover the blemishes and skin discoloration. I used other high- end primers before and they always made my skin feel tight but I do not feel this way when I put this primer on. It feels very light and does not clog pores. When I wear it under makeup it makes the foundation last longer and even on a hot day I have noticed that my T-zone is not as shiny as usual. It is not a miracle product that will fill and blur your wrinkles but it is a god light product that will help your makeup last longer. Overall I think it is a good value product and would recommend it to anyone.

Flower in your Prime

To start I have used a lot of different primers over the years looking for that one that will smooth over my skin and make my foundation stay true to color and actually help me use less of it. This primer does go on super smooth and makes my face feel very soft. It does not get tacky or feel thick and cakey on my skin. I have sensitive skin and it can be acne prone, this did not make my face break out nor react negatively at all. Did not see much of a difference in the color of my foundation but it did seem to cover more of my face with less product. Key to remember when using a primer is to smooth it on and then let it set for a few minutes before continuing with putting your makeup on. It seems to help my foundation with hiding some of my imperfections and helping keep moisture in my skin. This product is easy to use and does make a difference compared to just makeup alone. I did notice that if I got it to close to my eye area, my mascara and / or eye liner would seem to run / transfer on to my skin, as long as I stayed well away from where my eyelashes touched my face, I did not have that problem.

Makes skin feel so soft!!

One plus is that this primer is NOT animal tested. This primer has no foul smell, which is also a definite plus for me. It has a pleasant fragrance, which is a very important factor because I would not want an unpleasant smell lurking beneath my nose as I wear primer all day. It is clear in color and has is lightweight. As the package states, it does actually leave my skin feeling softer once it is applied to my face. As per directions, I let this product set for about 30 seconds. Afterwards, I applied my foundation and it went on smoothly without creating build up and unwanted skin irritation. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Before use, I would recommend using a good moisturizer after washing your face. A good moisturizer sets the tone for long lasting primer and makeup wear without causing skin irritation, dryness, and build up. I have combination skin so I am very careful of the products that I use on my face. This product is good for combination skin. It does not leave my skin oily or dry.

All in all, I am very impressed with this product and its quality. By the way, sorry that the picture turned out sideways.

Great Primer

This is a review of the Flower Brand, " In Your Prime Perfecting Primer." I received the Primer to try and review. I have to say this is the first time I've used a primer so I didn't know what to expect. Well I absolutely love it! I am a believer now that I need a primer.

This is water based so that means no extra oil if you have an oily complexion. I have combination skin therefore I have to be careful with extra oil in any face products. After cleansing my face, I apply the primer in upward strokes . It goes on smooth and feels light and silky, not heavy. After a few moments of allowing it to dry I apply my foundation. I noticed that the lines under my eyes are smoother and less noticeable. Now that's a plus for a woman in her early sixties.

This product is designed by Drew Barrymore. It's Made in the USA and sold exclusively by my favorite store, Walmart. So that being said, I love it! I don't know why I waited so long to try it. It's affordable and I intend on purchasing more of the Flower products Line! By never having used a primer before, I haven't anything to compare it to. But I can honestly say I do recommend it and will continue using it.

First Time Primer!

The first thing I do when I get a new make-up product is smell it. There is nothing worse than applying something near your nose that doesn't have a nice smell. It did not disappoint - it had lovely floral and herbal smell to it. Following the directions, I washed my face, dried and applied the Primer and waited a few minutes for it to set. I did not need a lot to cover my face and neck. I am 55 years old, and have found that many make-up products do not work well with my somewhat aging skin, but this was not the case with this product. It moisturized my skin and made it feel super soft and supple, and many fine lines disappeared. When I applied my make-up on top of it, I found that application of foundation, blush, eye shadow, liner, brow pencil and finishing powder were much easier to apply and get the look I wanted. I applied my make-up in the morning and it looked the same that evening, even after I had a nap! I saw no creasing and the colors stayed true. I was so impressed that I had my two daughters try it, too. I have olive tone, oily skin; and one daughter has oily pink toned skin which is acne prone; and the other has dry, perfect, alabaster toned skin. They were just as impressed as I was. I will definitely be keeping this in my make-up/skincare regimen. definitely worth the money.
