Unexpected quality I actually purchased this item based on all the positive reviews, and I am pleased to report that they were spot-on. Very sturdy, easy to put together, looks great. For $150, it's a great deal. (The box it comes in, however, is bulky and heavy...be prepared!) 02/23/2011
freeflyer I bought this desk because of another review. It truly was very easy to assemble. I hate having to assemble items. If I could put it together, stress free, anyone can. It is classy, and helps me with my medical transcription work. There is plently of room. Make sure you have a large area for the desk. 02/20/2011
Bought two for home office Bought two of these to set up to PCs for two people with dual monitors. Does the job. Easy to assemble, you will need another person for one portion (but it is possible to do by yourself with some technique). Looks great, what we expected.Only complaint - cannot remove shelf. This is a great desk! This is a great desk! There is so much space to place the tower, monitor, printer, phone, and file organizers, and room left to spread out papers galore while you are working. It is nice to have the pull out for the keyboard so you can write on top of the desk. It is very sturdy and it took my husband and myself 3 hours to put it together. If we did a second one it would be quicker to do. I think it would be difficult for one person to hold up everything to put it together. I am very pleased with the desk and would recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, sturdy desk with lots of space. You are getting a lot for the money. Of course it is glass and you can see all the cables, but once you get all your stuff on the desk you don't really pay them any attention. 12/18/2010
