Rated 4 out of 5 by Strug Functional & Inexpensive-cheap They have a fill level sticker, I didn't notice it the first time and over-filled it so it leaked all night, I set it on a plate and by morning it had sorted itself out. Imho thats probably what happened to the people complaining about it leaks. they are relatively small, and certainly seem flimsy, but they work. and each cost less than a pack of cigarettes, so if they don't last very long thats fine with me.TOOK FOREVER to find them, following Sandy and the snowstorm, half the state lost electricity and these were still hidden on a bottom shelf in the candle section. I will be looking for sturdier versions, but for the price, they work way better than candles and about the same 11/10/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by LyricLocks Good secondary lighting. Going off grid we purchased this lantern for interim lighting. It is inexpensive, made of inexpensive metal (thin tin); however, it does what it is purported to do . . . light surroundings by means of oil.For the price you can not complain. It works. 12/08/2011
