    OK but..... I bought one of these camcorders but when I got home, I realized that the rechargeable battery could NOT be replaced by me. I would have to mail the camcorder to the manufacturer when the battery would no longer hold a charge and it came time to replace it. Also you can ONLY recharge the battery on your computer so if you were on a trip without a computer and your battery died, you could not re-charge it. I took it back to the store for an exchange and I ended up buying the Flip Ultra 60 minute camcorder which uses AA batteries that I can replace myself. I like to hike and I bought this camcorder for my hikes. Didn't want a dead battery while I'm out on the trails. With the Ultra, I can carry extra batteries. 02/11/2009
    Great for the price I researched HD inexpensive cameras and decided on the Flip MinoHD. I have been recording my 9 year olds basketball games and I just love this camera! It is very light and EXTREMELY easy to operate. I have a MacBook, so the fact that it only records an hours worth of video is OK with me. I can just download it onto my laptop and we are off and recording some more.The Flip MinoHD also works wonderfully with iMovie '08 and '09. We have had a lot of fun editing his games and creating DVDs.We have a 52" Sony Bravia LCD TV and I think the DVDs that we have made look great on our big TV. I would say the quality ends up in between regular TV and our HD TV. I was very surprised how good it looks for such a small, inexpensive camera.We love it! 02/05/2009
    Flip Mino HD... OUTSTANDING! I bought the non-HD version with the 2-accessory bundle for my niece as a graduation gift, and the price was so good, I couldn't resist getting the HD bundle for myself.It's incredibly simple to use. I haven't had to refer to the written instructions at all, and only needed the software instructions once. That's how I learned you can't upload movies TO the camera (unless I've misunderstood), which was slightly disappointing, but not so much that I regret the purchase. Far from it!I love that I can recharge it via the USB port on my computer, and that it's both Mac and PC compatible. (I'm a Mac, my niece is a PC.) The software opens automatically upon connection, and there's nothing to install. No muss, no fuss! My only two warnings are to (1) be sure to click the "Eject" button PRIOR to disconnecting the camera, and (2) handle the flip-up USB connector with care. Brace the connector with your index finger and thumb, especially when disconnecting from your computer. DO NOT pull it out by holding the camera.The Flip Mino HD is a great companion to my iMac and iPhone. Definitely one of my best electronic purchases. I very confidently and enthusiastically recommend this product for anyone needing a compact, digital video device. 05/26/2009
    Simple and Compact Pros: Point and shoot, easy to playback, and compact.Cons: Needs USB to charge internal battery, no zooming capability, a bit grainy in low light condition such as inside hotel rooms. 01/27/2009
