Great for the price We have two boys who will be 4 and 2 next month. We've had this set for about a month, and it's been a hit. The 4 year old will be able to enjoy this set for this summer and next summer. After that, he'll probably outgrow it. But, that is all we bought it for.The assembly was relatively easy. My husband put it together by himself in about an hour and a half. The slide was the only thing that took any amount of time. It wasn't all that easy to line those nuts and bolts up. Other than that, you don't have to be a handy-man to put this together.If you're on a budget and don't want to spend hundreds more on a wood set...I would highly recommend this one. 04/07/2010
This is the NEW Updated Model! This is not the original model that many parents complained about. The original complaint was the holes did not line up properly, so you had to re-drill each hole & the screws were not long enough - No longer! This new updated model is completely redesigned for ease of construction...It took me around an hour and a half, leisurely putting this together by myself. The instructions have been stripped down, so there is really no more confusion, compared with the old directions. The only source of confusion may be that a lot of the screws are very close in size, but they are sorted in plastic bins that are labeled, so its easy to figure out. You do have to have a few wrenches, or at least a good adjustable pair of pliers and a few allen wrenches, as well as a hammer and screw driver.Overall, this is a wonderful, well-built and stable swing & slide set that will last for years to come. 02/08/2009
Excellent set This swingset is nicely proportioned for our toddler (18 months), though we did not attach the slide yet as it is a bit too high for her at the moment. We swapped out the middle swing for a toddler swing without any difficulty. Construction is solid, easily assembled with great instructions, hardware seems durable, anchors feel safe.The nicest part is that it fits under our sun canopy because it's only 6 feet tall, so we can keep it in the shade and even use it in the rain. 06/23/2009
Great price This is a great basic swingset. Got it for my 2 and 4 year old and they love it. It was very easy to put together, less then 2 hours and it's a great value. We needed something to fit in a small space and this is perfect. I bought a baby swing attachment for it and it works great!!! 04/01/2009
