Rated 4 out of 5★ by BryAndMacsMommy Huge pain to put together The previous review is pretty much dead on. The swing set does have lots of option but it was near impossible to get it together. It took my husband and I 2 days and a total of 4 or 5 hours to get it together. The parts are not marked and We had to take things apart atleast 5 times when we realized we had used the wrong part. The directions are poorly written and I spent most of the time using the image on the box as a guide. The kids seem to like it so far so hopefully it holds up well as they grow bigger. 04/14/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by NIUmom This swing set is of expected quality for the money. It has a lot of options for numerous kids to play on it, and it certainly is attractive. We chose it over a wooden fortress simply because it has so many different swings to play on. We already altered a swing to accommodate a baby swing. However, the stakes that come with it to anchor the set to the ground are a joke. We immediately discarded ours in the recycle bin and ordered the flexible flyer cork screw anchors, which seem to be adequate for smaller children. I think that as our two girls get bigger, we will have to anchor the set with cement to be safe that it doesn't tip over from normal use. The downsides of the swing set are this: the way the chains connect to the swing bases are iffy. They are little hook screws with a small bolt and a lock washer, which only have enough room to screw in a few millimeters. I'm sure on paper the engineers knew that this should hold, but I strongly doubt they took the time to assemble this bad boy. I don't think they will hold an older or larger kid safely without somebody falling bottom first on the ground. Also, this swing set was a nightmare to put together. The directions leave out pertinent details for assembly, so I doubt anyone will bet this thing together without disassembling numerous sections before it's over. And, the predrilled holes don't always match up, leaving you to fight with the set with overly anxious and excited children hovering over you as you try to get a single screw on for hours. It took 3 competent adults who have mastered the art of assembling Swedish made flat packed furniture 3 days to put this swings set together. So, if you are up for a challenge of assembling an attractive, mediocre swing set with a lot of playing options, by all means, buy this one. Oh yeah, and the kids LOVE it. 04/12/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Freemamma Hours of fun, but hours of assembly The set is easy to physically put together (even one person can do it alone), but be sure to CAREFULLY read the instructions or you will dismantle and reassemble multiple times. One positive is that the hardware for each portion is in a separate, labeled bag. The problem is that some portions have screws of varying sizes. Sort them and figure out what goes where on the front end and you will save time and frustration on the back end.Once assembled, my 2 year old and her cousins have lots of play options that keep them entertained. The frame can support a good amount of weight, but I would recommend buying additional ground corkscrew stakes or using cement. There are just too many swings that can all go at once (and create a lot of force) to rely on the straight stakes that come with it to keep it upright. 11/05/2013
