Yes. I usually read the reviews carefully and missed this very important point.  I shook the bottle and then sprayed the solution directly on the lens as  directed and it made permanent streaks which destroyed the very expensive anti-glare coating. My eyes are very sensitive to sunlight,  and that lens will be of no value to me. Fortunately it does not affect my ability to see, and I did not use it on the other lens. Please, please do not use this product on anti-glare coating if it is important to you. I  believe the manufacturer should be responsible and put this warning in large bold letters. I am on social security so I can&#39;t afford to buy new  glasses. I will be using it to clean my TV and computer monitor only!

Yes, this cleaner will damage the coating on your lenses.  It took me quite awhile to figure out what was happening to my glasses and I discovered online that this is a common problem with this brand of eyeglass cleaner.  I don't often use this cleaner but each time I did (I realized this with hindsight) the cleaner would dissolve a little of the coating, turning it into a gooey adhesive and when I wiped the lenses, the coating would smear across the lenses.  Now I'm slowly trying to remove the rest of it since it's very hard to see through the smeared mess.  If you've ever accidentally gotten bandaid adhesive on your glasses and tried removing it, it's a lot like that.  A very expensive loss for many of us who must wear pricey glasses (progressive lenses in my case).

Will this lens cleaner damage my anti-glare coating on my eyeglass lens?

Yes it will. Just soak lenses in the solution for up to 10 minutes then gently scrape off the coating with a flat tip (plastic) object or your fingernail. Then rinse and dry off with a non-fibers or soft cloth.

Will this help remove the anti glare coating on my glassses?

I have several pairs of reading glasses, all over the house and they usually always have dirt/smudges on them. I try to wipe them, with clean clothes, which never works and results only in blurred lenses. I have been meaning to get a cleaner, for a long time, but most seem to cost more than I can afford, to spare. This lens cleaner works well, actually keeps the lenses clean, for a long time and the price is great, for a good size bottle (8 fl. oz.). I am very happy, with this purchase.

I don't know how a persons glasses get so dirty just sitting on your nose.   They do though and I like this spray better than the towelettes.  Clear as a bell!

This product is so good that I always find it sold out at our local Walmart. When I found it easy to order on line I was very pleased. It arrived quickly and I intend to use this online purchase option again for other items in the future.

the perfect solution

I recently got new glasses and was looking for a good cleaning product. I tried this one and was pleased. I spray each side of both lenses and wipe them with a microfiber cloth. The spray is great to get off smudges and dust. The spray bottle is easy to pump and delivers the right amount for the lense. The spray has no scent. My glasses are as clean as the day I got them. I will purchase a replacement bottle when this one is empty.

Sparkling Clean

Works very well on my non-reflective plastic lenses.  Good quality spray that distributes evenly.  When polished with a soft cloth, no streaks.

Excellent eyeglass cleaner

It seems I can never get my glasses clean no matter what I do.  This cleaner really is fantastic, it gets my lenses clean on the first go round!  It has been a long time since I experienced No Smudging, feels like new glasses.  I will without doubt buy this brand again.
