    A Must!

Ok, let me start off by saying that I really didn't have any expectations for this product. I gave up cable TV over a year ago and have been just using Netflix. I missed not having the local channels even though I can go online and look it up if I want to (but it's just not the same). In the apartment building I live in, none of the backside apartments can even have dish or directv because of bad reception although most of the front apartments are able to. I bought this antenna and the set up was very simple. And as I mentioned I didn't have any expectations and I was already thinking about my next trip to WalMart where I could return it (I bought this online) for my money back. I was ecstatic to be able to get 10 channels. I had a friend bring over a RCA antenna in the past because of wanting to watch a Sunday football game with me and that did not work at all. I highly recommend this product for the people that would like to receive the local channels!!!!!!!

We gave up cable because of the cost. We had one indoor antennea, a stand up model, but we needed another for our other TV. I saw a name brand flat antennea on the internet and then went to Walmart.com and found one just like it. The best part was that it was $20 cheaper than the other brand and I had the option of having it shipped free to my closest store or my home. The only problem is now my husband wants one of his own! This one is so much nicer than the stand up model we have, and since it goes flat up on the wall, you do not have to worry about it falling the TV or the table you have it own. And another great thing is that you can paint over it to match your wall so it is not obvious that it is there. It has a 50 mile range instead of the 25 miles than most have. This is a great brand and a great value! We are thrilled with our purchase and have another on it's way. You can not go wrong with this! I love it!

    • These are digital signals, hi-frequency and work best on a window.

    • I tried on the walls on both sides of the tv. In both cases a got different channels coming in. When I moved it to the window (I have it wedged in my blinds) I got the most reception. The cord from the antenna to the box is pretty long, but since it is amplied it has to be plugged in.

    • I placed antenna on wall. It does not face any windows. It is amplified so you do need electric plug.

    • Mine worked on the wooden front door and also a wall in the den. It's better for us in a window, though.

    • You can try it on the wall. I have a condo built from cinder blocks and thus I don't get as many channels with it on the wall as I do with it in the window. I get many of the UHF channels and no VHF on the wall. I had to move it to the window to get the VHF channel.

    • The antenna does not have to be in a window. You do need to try placing it in different spots to find your optimal reception for getting all the channels you want. Each time you move it give it 5 minutes to have time to pull in all the signals. Try rescanning after you move it if you want. After 12 to 24 hrs the channels come in even stronger. All of mine are on a wall facing towards the broadcast towers. Go to antennaweb.org to find out where you should place your antennas. It tells you where your broadcast towers are. A matter of a few inches in one direction can make a difference in reception. You'll find the sweet spot as they call it where you'll find all of your channels.
