The ones I received do smell like vanilla.

This candle smells waxy like any real candle. However, it does not give out a scent like a scented candle. You won't be able to smell it unless you're within a few inches.

These glow with an amber light, mainly because the bulb is amber in color.

If you prefer a clear white light these candles are not for you. The light displayed is the same color as the candle. More of an Ivory or cream color. This works for me because the wedding is an off white.

Do these have a white glow? I prefer a clear white light, not yellow like other led candles.

I purchased these candles to go into lanterns at my wedding and I am so satisfied with the product. They were the perfect size and smell so delightful (vanilla fragrance). I also love that the glow they emit is so realistic. When they are turned on they look so realistic. I no longer have to worry about a candle getting knocked over as I walk down the aisle, but I still get to have the beautiful romantic look I was hoping for. This product was perfect for my needs!

Beautiful Flameless Candles

The only downside I can see with this product is that it came with 2 of candles having a broken battery door... It doesn't affect the function, but I don't like the idea of paying full price for something that is partially broken. Beyond that, because they are fake candles, I expected the part that looks like wax to actually be plastic, but my nails have proven that they're actually wax or a REALLY cheap plastic that scratches like wax... Some may see this as a downside, I see it as making the product look and feel more realistic.

My husband asked me what the port on the bottom of the candle is for (which I didn't even notice there was one!) I told him I had NO idea, and that I'd check the site... Walmart has NO mention of these plugs/sockets/ports whatever they are and now its driving me nuts that I don't know what they're to! I'm hoping it goes to some sort of cord you can buy separately to be able to turn all the candles on and off at the same time and/or save the battery life...

The votive candles fit perfectly in the glass holders of my holiday centerpiece and have a slight flicker, giving it a realistic candle appearance.

Great look at a great price!

I searched high and low for the perfect flameless candles that will be for my centerpiece at my wedding. I am glad to have found them online. The quick delivery makes it possible to order items and just go pick them up at the store.

All candles worked when delivered. They look much less fake than other candles I have ordered. They are a nice size. They are real wax and flicker so they are very real looking!

This is basically a electronic candle. There's a switch to turn the candle on and off. The light looks similar to a flame candle. The plus side is that there are no flames. This is good for my dorm or any dorms, since my dorm does not allow flame lit candles. Great price too.

These candles were suppose to have timers but they didn't. We are already having to buy new batteries. It would be cheaper to buy new candles.

Not as advertised.

I looked everywhere for these and wal mart definitely offered the best bang for your buck. They work as described and are the perfect height. Just wish there was a timer.

While a few of the candles did not work, it is still a great value. They are a white-ivory color, and the flame is yellowish--lighting up 3/4 of the candle with the bottom part, slightly glowing. The flame effect is very comforting, and bright enough. I have given some away as gifts. These have no timer, and no scent. But are attractive with the scalloped edge. The flame is made of rubbery material, which will not break easily in time to come.

Nice, warm glow

Three of the ten candles put out a very weak light even with a new battery. The "flame" is misshapen and affects the glow. Even the good ones are pretty dim compared to the ones I already have.
