Both, most are fixed, but it does come with extra dividers that you can add.

Some dividers are removable, some aren't. That box holds ALL my tackle, fresh and salt water. When I had a problem with my box, I went directly to Flambeau's website and it was resolved in a timely manner. Full specs can also be found at their website. I'm happy with my box and would recommend it to others.

I does not have the number of compartments you want. You are going to have to spend more money for that size box.

Plenty of room for all your gear. Well designed and constructed but still lightweight. Best tackle box I have ever owned. In facy I bought a second one and they both fit under my boat seat. Highly reccomend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I was looking for storage solutions for my ever growing collection of crafting supplies and lucked out when I came across this tackle box. This thing is incredible!! I got rid of 2 tool boxes and 7 small boxes with compartments just by consolidating...I love the fact that the drawers don't take any space away from the bottom of this box...this is the best purchase I've made in years!! I'm definitely getting a couple more because I have accumulated a ridiculous amount of supplies! Great storage solution with myriad of uses!!

For a $20 tackle box, I don't know how you could beat this.  I had too much stuff in my older, smaller tackle box and needed an upgrade.  Lots of room now

Liking It!

Great box. Now that soft sided bags are all the rage, they are over priced. This box is not much bigger than the (torn) bag it replaced. Everything from my multiple plastic bag cases fit with lots of room to spare. Kept one plano box to keep in voluminous bottom section. Can hang spinners from notches in bottom tray. Same box sold elsewhere anywhere from $30-$40

Great Value

When I first unboxed this tackle box, my thought was this is way too big but I went with it. In went everything for my sewing machine: feet, oil, screw drivers, bobbins, needles %26 etc. Then I added sewing notion: tracing wheels, seam rippers, tailor's chalk, fabric glue, %26 etc. Finished up with misc. stuff I have a hard time finding when needed stapler, staples, staple puller for example. It's about 95% full %26 heavy that's OK because it's living about 2 ft from my machine %26 I'm not planning on carrying it about.

I started to fill it up and shut the lid ald found a about 3 inches long under the latch, so now I have to unload everything

Buy the Plano Hip Roof tackle box instead. I purchased the Flambeau in order to save a few dollars. The support for one cluster of trays has a very thin and fragile support and this was broken in two. I used to have one of these a few years ago and it was junk also. The Plano is made much better.

A major disappointment.
