I bought my Fitbit just after Christmas and it is awesome. I did many reviews between this and the jawbone and I'm glad I bought the Fitbit. Easy to use and understand. Helps you be aware of the steps (or lack of) and sleep (again or lack of) you do in a day. Highly recommend.

Fit Bit Challenge

My daughter enjoys her Fitbit Flex. Her only complaints are that the wristband makes her wrist sweaty at times and she wishes hers read out like a watch, since she doesn't have a smartphone. However, she has no trouble checking out her progress with her laptop when she's home.

The unit permits setting goals for daily number of steps, distance, number of active hours , etc, then tracking performance against the goals. This incites the wearer to get out there and exercise even when the weather if frigid!

One word of caution - it is definitely advisable to recharge the battery after no more than 3 days, otherwise, the battery can become so discharged that the unit cannot send a warning that the battery is low.

Lots of functionality in a small package

I bought this a month ago to keep track of my sleep. Now I use the activity features and am just starting with the calorie intake feature. No more forgetting to write it all down. Have the app on my phone and fill in the information when I have time during the day.

great features

This is a good product for helping you stay healthy.  You do have to upload and sync with your phone to be able to read anything on it, though, which I did not realize.  A little aggravating at first, but then, I can actually read the results/activity on the phone  without putting on my glasses, which I would definitely have to do if it were only visible on the band!  A good value for the product!

Yes, as stated by someone else swinging arm does affect steps but I figure if your swinging your arms around this much then you are engaged in some kind of physical activity which would probably at least equal a step so it's all good. If I'm moving then I'm burning calories which is my main goal, again it's all good.

Happy with product

It does track physical activity but it doesn't feature a watch.  It takes a lot of time to set it up especially the sleep and dietary patterns..I wouldn't buy again.

lacks accuracy........counts either too many or too few steps.........arm movement seems to confuse it
