Rated 5 out of 5 by avemaria92 much lighter and easier to deal with I purchased the Ames True Temper Collector 26" Leaf Rake of similar design, though the head of that rake is a lot larger.. but the weight of the Ames rake left my arms sore after a short time.. sure it can pick up a lot of debri but what's the point if it hurts to use it? and i'm not trying to impress anyone with the size of my rake while I do the lawn... So I purchased the Fiskars rake and the weight is a lot lighter, yet seems built just as strong.. has a specially designed pole that gives it added strength.. it's just much more pleasant to use this rake.. not sure how long it will last, but there is a lifetime guarantee on it.. so if it ever breaks, they replace it.. can't beat that.. and at least for now I'm not sore raking anymore. 12/31/2012
