Not for lefty kids These are the best brand of scissors you can purchase, and the price was awesome. But I really wish Fiskars wouldn't advertise their scissors as "right OR left handed use" because they are not. Lefty kids struggle to use mainstream scissors. They cannot see the cutting lines because the right blade is in the way of their view. Try it sometime! I have discovered Fiskars makes LEFTY specialty scissors, constructed so the left blade is over top of the right blade....but you will not be able to find them in stores, I had to buy mine online. Crazy, isn't it?Also -- Walmart.com has to do better with their shipping methods. This tiny pair of scissors came in a BOX that would hold a huge pair of men's work boots or something. And it was sent FedEx, to my door -- free shipping. Not sure how that's saving the earth!? Seemed fairly wasteful, but this is not the first time it's happened. 09/05/2011
