Rated 5 out of 5 by tartar2 After picking this train up from the store my grandson held this purchase out of the store and all the way home. The train ran continously for the next 72 hours that he spent with us minus the time he went to bed at night. So that in itself should speak high volumes for Thomas the train Busy Train Set. I would recommend this highly for a child 2 and older.

This train set is for my 1 year Grandson. This is a plastic train set. I must not have read the description correctly, this set has plastic tracks not wood. I intended this to be a starter set for him and would add track as we go. Since it the track is plastic and not wood, it is not compatible with the wooden Thomas or Brio tracks.

As stated by my son, the little tyke loves it. He can't stop playing with it. I an truely elated that Kayden likes this toy, as I thought since he has about all of Thomas the train toys that this would be a welcome addition to his expanding playthings..

We bought this for 18 month old. Great first train set we have already added more pieces. So easy to put together he can do it by himself. He loves it!! Would recommend to others!
