I read the "Train Your Child in Just One Day" by Teri Crane and the premise is to help your toddler train a doll first and then work with the toddler, so I was in the market for a potty doll. This one really does the trick. It's very durable and works as described.

However, to really make it work for training, I suggest a few product updates: 1) it could use an extra pair or two of underwear so that if Dora has a pretend accident, we can pretend to get her a new pair- if you somehow lose or damage the pair she has it loses much of its value, 2) there are holes in the bottom of the toilet, I wanted to mock a potty in the little toilet to show my daughter how she went in the potty, but had to use a glue gun to fill in the holes. 3) my 2.5yo toddler had trouble getting her to balance on the play potty, there should be some sort of update to make it easier for little hands to get the doll to sit without tipping over as much.

Otherwise, it's a good buy, and I'm glad I did!

My 2 year old likes this. She loves how you can take her undies off & feed her. It makes loud, annoying phrases that get on my nerves. Other than that, it's a nice toy.

Cute

I bought this as a gift for a 2year old who is potty training. Out of all of her present this is the one she HAD TO open right away and played with the entire night. The button on her butt let's the doll know when she is sitting on the potty which I thought was cool. Overall good doll especially for the price.

I'm not sure I would recommend this doll to anyone. It is cute and all but I thought it actually went to the potty rather than making a little tinkle sound. My granddaughter did think she was cute though but so far we still aren't potty trained.
