My three and four year old love it! Goes just as good in the grass as it does on cement.

Typical Power Wheels will not run in our yard. My children are both very light weight and we have tried the smaller 6 volt ride-ons and bought the 12 volt Mustang. Neither were able to get good enough traction for our children to ride on the grass and so they were limited to riding only on our drive way. We now have this Dune Racer in both green and pink and they are winners in my book. They get GREAT traction on our yard, have wonderful seating room, and the kids play on them for HOURS without the battery dying. We love them. The pink is our newest and it is identical to the green, other than color, except for the fact that it DOES NOT come with seatbelts. The green racer does have belts. In the description on Walmart.com it states that the pink does also, however it does not and there are no opening in the seats to install them. We LOVE this product, by far the best traction of any Power Wheel we've tried.

I want to know if this car is good for a 7 years old? my daughter will turn 7 in april 20 she is skinny and tall.
    by wifey 2/13/2013
    • My granddaughter is also 7. There should be plenty of knee room for her to operate the racer because it is very open.

    • In my opinion, a bicycle might be more appropriate for a 7 year old.

    • I would think 7 and 8 yrs. old would be the OLDEST age for this product.

    • This is probably the beat option for an older child that is tall. She will have her knees bent but there is plenty of room for her to be able to do that in this car as opposed to many of the other kids cars

    • We bought this for our daughter who is younger, but our son who is 8 (and a rather big 8, more like 9 or 10) fit in there just fine.

    • My oldest is 3 1/2 she's very tall and she reaches the pedal and steering wheel perfectly. Just my opinion but she may be a bit to tall for it. Toysrus has the green one in store, I'd take her there and see how it works for her.
