Yes, I believe it is. It has 16 pieces with only one shepherd. Sets from other retailers did not include a shepherd.

It has everything you see pictured, plays song and lights up.

I've searched and found many versions of the Little People Nativity. This one is not listed as the deluxe, but I think is overall the best. Some do not even come with a shepherd, but wisemen only. The wisemen did bring gifts to Jesus, but were not at the stable. Check out the biblical account!

No, I don't think this is, as it doesn't have the Magi's tent thing. The Magi are here, though, and this is a nice, substantial set that plays music.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by deluxe, but it does have more pieces than the normal set. Usually you have to buy the shepherds separately, so this is a good deal.

I think it is. It has more figures and animals than previous nativity sets I bought. It also plays a song when the angel is placed on the top of the stable.

I don't know what the 'delux' model is but my 8-month old grandson has LOVED this Nativity since I gave it to him on Thanksgiving Day.

It is removable but stable when placed on top of the stable.

The angel is removable. In fact, my toddler loves putting all the animals and characters in the angel's spot on top of the stable, and making them all play the song.

This nativity set is colorful and perfect size for young children.  Most nativity sets are "do not touch" but this is wonderful for children to handle and examine.

Children's Perfect Nativity

This nativity set is adorable. The star lights up and it plays Away in a Manger.  It's great for a toddler's first nativity. I purchased it to split up into 12 bags for 12 days of Christmas for my granddaughter. She is going to love it!  I liked that it also had a sheep dog in addition to the sheep and shepherd.

Adorable Nativity

This is a great product, and the best value for it anywhere! If you buy this somewhere else online, you have to buy the shepherds set separately, for an extra $20-$30, so Walmart definitely has the best deal. It's such a cute set, too. My daughter is 20 months old, and we got it for her to play with in December, leading up to Christmas. She fell in love with it instantly.

I especially like that the angel is removable, and that there is an on/off switch on the back of the stable. I also love all the details.

I was a little confused that there is a pig included, since the box actually says it is a cow. The box also says there are two shepherds, but there is only one. The items pictured here are the items included. The words on the packaging are just incorrect.

I also wish you could take baby Jesus out of the manger, but it's pretty normal for the baby and the manger to be one piece in most Nativity scenes I've seen, so it's not a big deal.

Overall, this is a great toy, and I would highly recommend it.

Great for Little Ones!

This nativity is meant for toddlers however my 6 year old Grandson loved it too. Being able to "hands on" the pieces and arrange and re-arrange the scenes provides great conversation about the Biblical Story of Christmas. The value was excellent as I did much research pricing wise and this was an excellent price for this particular Fisher Price grouping. The only reason it did not receive all top ratings was the little lock of blonde hair on Jesus coming from underneath the swaddle, but then I've had a hard time finding any Jesus without blonde hair (which I believe to be sad but true)...Otherwise the detail on the figures was great, i.e. being able to see the gifts in the Wiseman's arms the lamb for the shepherd etc. It was the perfect gift for my Grandchildren!

Cute for all ages

I got this for a Christmas present for my 4 yr old granddaughter and she loved it. Able to really connect with the characters who make up the Christmas story with the hands on experience that she can't have with the family Nativity set that is put up every year, that she is not allowed to touch. She literally sat for an hour after she got it and enacted out her own version of the birth of baby Jesus. It was very rewarding and she was adorable to watch! Great learning experience for the whole family! Highly recommend this product!

Great gift for my 4 yr old granddaughter!

I missed out on this toy last year and so I was glad to see it back this Christmas season. I have a 4 year old daughter and 18 month old son roaming my house with no place to put my traditional, porcelain nativity scene away from little hands. I got this nativity set and 4 year old girl is already learning the names. After just a few days, she pointed out Mary. My son loves to throw the toys on the floor. But, being a durable Little People set, I don't have to worry about him breaking it. I keep it in the same place in the living room and let the kids play with it when they want to. It is a great toy to teach your kids the story of Christmas and WHY we really celebrate this time of year.

A great toy to teach your kids the Christmas Story

This set is adorable and very well made! (Although it is a little pricey). I bought it to help explain the meaning of Christmas to my 2 year old. It is amazing how fast he is picking it up and naming all the people. He loves setting up the manger and playing with all the figurines. I am so pleased with this purchase and I am recommending it to all my friends!

One of our favorites!

It's a great toy for the little ones and a perfect Christmas decoration that the little ones can actually touch and play with. Good quality and can take the abuse. Have bought 2 of them. One for their house and mine.

We opened the box it came in and everything in tack. My grandchild will love it.

This was packaged well

This is a really cute nativity set that is perfect for little children. Instead of discouraging my son from touching it, I can let him play with it and enjoy it, and hopefully he learns something in the process. He enjoys seeing the baby and makes the other figures kiss the baby. He seems to like the music as well. I have seen other sets that only include the stable part or just the stable and wise men, so I was glad to find this one that includes a shepherd. I do think it is a little expensive. I wouldn't mind getting a few less pieces as long as the important people are there. Still, I am glad I bought it. My husband complained that it isn't realistic to have a pig, but I think small inaccuracies can be excused.

Cute and sturdy

It was nice, looked like the picture  that's true, but way overpriced for what the material  was.  I thought for the money the quality would be better.
