I bought this for my 3 year old niece and she loves it! And so does her 5 year old sister!

We bought it for my 2 year old but our 5 year old niece also loves to play with it and she generally doesn't spend a lot of time playing with toys smaller than baby dolls... if your little one loves the small figurine-y dolls, I think she would love this!

The beast and the princes don't sing. They just play songs.

Belle sings about one line and it is not a duet or anything with Beast.

Belle sings Beauty and the Beast but the Beast does NOTHING.. None of the boys do anything. All of the princesses sing a little clip of songs from their movie but not the whole song or anything.

All of the princesses say about 3 phrases and sing one song. Some of the songs are not ones you've heard on the movie and they only sing a short portion of the song. Tiana sings "I'm Almost There", Cinderella sings "A Dream is a Wish", Rapunzel sings "At Last I See the Light", Belle sings "Beauty and the Best", Snow White sings "I'm waiting for My Prince" (not on the movie), Arielle sings "Part of that World", and Aurora sings "Once Upon a Dream." I don't have the princes to see if they talk, although that would be fun.

Belle does sing part of the song "Beauty and the Beast". Rapunzel sings "At Last I see the Light". Tiana sings "I'm almost there" (I think that is the name.) I would have to check the others to make sure. Those ones seem to be my daughter's favorites.

Belle does. Beast doesn't sing or talk. It just plays a tune when he is put on the castle.

The dolls don't sing, some parts of the castle do but haven't noticed which parts.

As long as the package says that they go with the talking princess castle, then yes. There are packages of two princesses or prince and princess that you can purchase separately. As well as, packages with Snow White and they seven dwarfs and Ariel with a carriage.
