It sounds like your Magical Musical Mirror is still in try-me-mode, as it should play the entire alphabet. We'd recommend fully removing it from the packaging, changing the batteries, and turning the 'on-off' switch all the way up and then all the way down. If problems are persisting, check the battery compartment for a piece of a plastic try-me tab.

I received this as a gift for my ten month old. She has been showing some signs of loving girly things and this gift has made it official...she's a girly girl. She loves this toy and it keeps her engaged more and longer than any of her other toys. She has two older sisters (2 and 4) who also find this toy interesting and all three girls have played with this toy together (mainly the oldest pretends to put powder on the two younger). It has been great fun for all and I highly recommend it, especially if your little girl loves girly things!

Perfect for Emerging Girly Girl

This toy is even more adorable in person! My 8 month old daughter is fascinated by her sister's dressups (mainly because she isnt allowed to get into the stuff) this toy is the perfect alternative! It has all sorts of textures and the mirror is large enough that she can see her whole face (unlike the tiny compact size mirrors most other toys have). I am shocked that walmart doesn't carry this in stores - it is hands down the cutest baby girl toy I have seen!

I bought this for my oldest granddaughter when she was 1. She played with it for several years. Now I bought one for my youngest granddaughter. It is perfect for any little girl who can sit up. It has lots of lights and sounds to it.

So cute for little girls

The vanity to why it's self is a great but when I received it in the mail the paper stickers on it were wrinkled and not in good shape. It look like it was a used toy!

I got this for my grandaughters 1st birthday. She loved it right away, plays music, has a mirror and ligths. She carried it in one hand and pulled her new doggy in the other.

Just the right size.

My little 1yr old loves this! She got it for her birthday and it's one of her favorite toys right now because she's learning things like "brushing" her hair, putting on jewelry and lipstick, and she loves looking in the mirror.

Awesome toy

This toy is fun but if it was a little higher it would be better. My daughter is 1 and she cant sit and see herself. she has to tilt the toy back or lay on her belly. She does like it though.

Fun toy but could of been taller

This is a funny toy for babies and kids. I bought it for my 9 month old daughter, but my 6 and 4 year old girls enjoy playing with it as well. The only thing I would recommend could be better about this toy is for it to sit taller so that when the baby is sitting down she can see herself in the mirror easily.

Fun for all Little Girls

Usually when I buy toys there is a feeling of satisfaction that we have gotten our money's worth. I feel like 30 bucks for this toy is too much. My daughter will play with it if put directly in front of her but otherwise she pays it no attention.

Nice toy but...

We bought this for our daughter and just threw it away. I can't believe other parents aren't bothered by it. Even when in the teaching mode all this says is, "ooooh la la" or "so pretty" or "smoooooth lipstick". Don't our daughters deserve more than to be taught starting in infancy that all that matters is their physical appearance? My son has a workbench from infancy and not once does it say "strong muscles" or "so handsome". Such a disappointment.
