Bought this for my son when he was 5 months and barely sitting up. He is 8 1/2 months now and has been playing with it ever since. He loves everything about it. He actually interacts with it more than he does all the other toys! This was a great purchase for is because it's easily picked up and brought with us to friends or family houses. Doesn't have a bunch of pieces.

This is a fantastic toy for my 18 month old son. He loves cars and this toy has great accessories. A nice steering wheel, loud horn, lots of buttons, plus some random shapes to go along with it. It does look like its coming apart a little at the edges, so maybe it's not that durable?

do the kids like the songs?
    by btea 12/14/2013
    • Tt doesn't have 75 songs. I believe that includes all the words and phrases it says, also. The songs it does sing are good.

    • The songs are adorable! Unfortunately--she has 50 toys that sing the ABC's. Luckily--they are SHORT songs and there is a high low volume switch!

    • Definitely and I sing along with them. My grandson is 9 months old and attempts to mimic the song.

    • they are cute catchy tunes, not to bad, and they change up so adults don't get burnt out on the same song playing over and over.

    • They are very cute! Not all of the songs have words, some are just tunes. There is a "radio" mode as if they were really driving and there are different "styles" of music. As if you were flipping through the radio. I love it and so does my 9 month old!

    • My grandsons love the songs. They just got it on Christmas so I am not sure if they are singing along yet or not. I know the 14 month old playes with and in it a lot. He really enjoys it. I also have a 3 year old grandson that loves it too.

    • No! All these model were made like that on purpose, to prevent accidental door close by the kids. Since most time, kids are left alone on this toy.

    • It doesn't meet up with the body of the car if that's what you mean. It fits more like a "GATE". There is a gap all the way around the door. I THINK its mostly for the sound effect.

    • I think that is a safety feature. My Grandson toppled sideways and the door gently opened to let him out. Since it is so low to the floor it is safe . The door is suppose to be opened by little hands that need to fit in the gap without pinching their fingers . Also keeps child from crawling over the side to escape if needed. This is just my opinion. Hope this helps.

    • Mine and a friend of mine doesn't either. I think it's made that way so they won't smash fingers and such.

    • If it closed it would be able to pinch fingers. There is a gap to prevent this.

    • On the one I bought the door pulls all the way in towards the driver. However there is a small gap between the edge of the door and the back part of the car. By the edge I mean the part that the actual door latch would be on a real car.
