The Power Wheels ride-on is powered by a 12-volt battery and moves at up to 5 miles per hour.     For the price this truck is great!. However it could have working lights and ignition sounds like the less expensive ones. It's very roomy. My five year old fits comfy and drives 2 year old around. It's very sturdy and has a real FM radio! Yes I said real! no music box here... My kids catch everything from sports, to weather and songs. The radio runs on 4 c batteries. It was easy to put together takes about 30 minutes and can be done alone. You only need a second hand to put on the second wheel (as someone has to hold the first one in place). The battery charge is really good. I have not had to charge it from completely dead yet. It has a battery charge indicator at the press of a button and shows you 4 battery levels so you know your battery life before your child drives away. This vehicle drives through everything! hills, grass, rocks, concrete...you name it! I as very satisfied with this truck!! It's huge and I know my child will have it for a few years then it will go to the younger child...well worth the money. It has two speeds and a reverse. My kids love this truck and I love that no one else has it! Don't confuse this model with the smaller one. Check the measurements! You want the big one! 09/22/2009
    This is the one Bought this for my Grand-son's 4th Birthday. It goes everywhere with ease; wet grass, gravel, unleveled ground. Radio works great. The cup holders were disappointing. They are too far under the dash board to really use. There was more work than we expected to put together. He rides his two yr old Sister all over the yard, they both love it. It was more expensive but I think it's worth it. 08/18/2009
    Awesome truck! My DAUGHTER got this for her 3rd Birthday this year and she absolutely loves it! It is really big and roomy with 2 velcro seat belts! with us its a must to wear them. She drives around my 1 1/2 year old daughter and they run over everything! the tires are really good. We live in the country so we have a lot of hills and gravel driveway which for the truck is no problem. The truck seems pretty sturdy too. watch out for your feet! It holds up to 25 lb.s in the back with a working tail gate. they love putting stuff back there and taking somewhere else. Sometimes the kids even sit back there (not suppose too) but we have had 3 kids in it! It has even held myself! (130) we were tryin to move it to the garage, the limit is 130 lbs. Love the working radio that actually picks up real channels nice for when we are all outside have something to listen too. The girls drove the truck for an hour one day then the next day a couple hours till the battery died. It only took about to hours to recharge which isn't bad during nap time! really like how there are 2 different settings for the speed. We started her off with the slow speed at 2.5 mph and once she got use to it we changed it to 5 mph! It has a plastic cover on the shifter. Plus it has reverse. We are very pleased with this product couldn't ask for more! 12/01/2009
    F-150 Well just got it the other day for my son for Christmas. The instructions are very well done and easy to read. Took me about one and half hours to get the job done. It took just as long to put the stickers on than it did putting it together. I hope the stickers stay intact because they seemed to be on the cheap/not so sticky side. The little cap that goes on the end of the steering rod that holds it in place at the axle seems like it could be redesigned to give it some more sturdiness. Overall I think it will be enjoyed for many many months and I hope it last just as long as the John Deere Gator that has taken a severe beaten over the years.... One other thing I like about it is that the battery is under the hood and there is enough storage in there to keep the charger so it doesnt get lost.. Buy it you will be pleased... 12/24/2009
