For someone on a budget I had both this Dora doll and the more expensive one and returned this one ONLY because my duaghter wanted the one that changes. I have seen them both and if you are not sure if your daughter will like the online world then this is the doll or if your on a budget this is the right doll for you.This was my daughters one and only present she wanted so I didn't skimp on her. Other than the doll actually changing when you change her online there is no difference.I say unless your child knows the difference then go cheaper... 12/09/2009

Great for daughter, not for mom My daughter loves her new Dora, but I don't. The hair is gross. Her bangs feel like someone glued them to hold the shape and then the rest of her hair is not what I would want to sit and brush. Be prepared to spend some time freeing the new toy from the box. Nothing like spending Christmas day cutting toys out of their boxes. I did basic shipping and it arrived a day early. I probably would not buy this toy again though. 01/05/2010
