Nice product I got this using my points on my credit card. It is nice to have the remote, you can hang it on the doorknob so you can turn it on without having the baby see you. My baby is not here yet so I have not been able to try it with him yet though.The pages are made out of fabric and stay open with small magnets. They are not super strong magnets so the baby should be able to turn the pages themselves when they get older. The nightlight doesn't seem too bright, but that is probably good because you don't want it to be too bright and keep them up. It attaches to the rail of the crib with a strap and ties on the back. If the top of your crib railing is too thick you will not be able to attach it to the crib (the strap has a type of safety lock thing it does and if its too thick it can't lock into place). I have the Babymod- Ava 4 in 1 crib and I can only put it on the sides of the crib or the front of the crib. You definitely want to make sure that you pay attention to what direction you are going to put your baby's head in the crib otherwise the picture could be upside down the way they are looking at it. (There is no way to change the direction of the picture on the ceiling.)All in all I think this is a cute product. I was told to get some sort of sound soother for the baby that shows pictures on the ceiling and I like that they can learn some nursery rhymes this way as well.
