Works fine for me I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 6mths old and she is now one and never had a problem. It floats around in the tub on its own wich my little girl loves! It does make a horrible sound if you turn it on out of water. And I thought the water shooting out would hold theball up like the packing would have you believe but it doesnt. But at the same time its not too strong that water gets every where and spashes my little one in the face.Over all I like it hasnt gave us any problems! 03/03/2012
EXCELLENT TOY I don't know what everyone else is talking about. My son got this as a gift from a friend & he LOVES it. He's 11 months now & has had it since about 8 months. It sprays him in the face sometimes when it goes right under his chin, but he's okay with that. No problems with the batteries, no problems getting the battery cover off, it works the way it's supposed to. It's a really fun toy & one of my son's favorites. 02/28/2012
never worked My son got this whale as a gift for his first birthday. He already had the vtech sing and count fish, as well as their light up turtle. He loved them both, so I thought when he got the whale it would be a great addition to tub time. Unfortunately the toy just never worked. We tried three sets of batteries before giving up. The only thing that kept me from returning the gift was that my little boy loved this ball that comes with the whale. He was so mesmerized by the spinning fish inside that I figured it was worth keeping since I hadn't paid for it myself. 11/30/2011
