Rated 5 out of 5 by 3boysNtx blocks i LOVE this thing! we bought it for our second son about a year ago. he is almost 3 now. he STILL plays with it (and he never got his hand stuck in it) as does our 6 year old...and so will our 3rd baby boy due in a couple of months. it's perfect for teaching them shapes and color recognition. our boys find SO many things to do with these shaped blocks. 03/27/2009

However, if you purchase the pink set, there are 3 different shades of pink blocks in there and the only other two colors are blue and yellow. How are you supposed to explain the different pinks to a baby? -It's almost all pink! You should be able to point to the triangle, and say, "The triangle is green." Instead, you would have to say,"The triangle is light pink, the 'x' is medium pink, the square is hot pink..." Poor color selection. 03/08/2009
