The Fisher-Price Baby's First Baseball set really gets baby swinging! Little all-stars will love batting, chasing and catching using this "grow-with-me" sports set. In mode 1, the soft baseball is attached to the springy base for sitting babies to bat at. When baby is standing in mode 2, the post extends and the ball comes loose for real t-ball play. In either mode, baby is rewarded with tunes or sound effects such as "Take me out to the Ballgame" and crowd cheers.

Encourages new skill While browsing in Walmart when my son was 11 months old, I started to play with several toys. I was trying to get ideas for birthday presents for my son. The moment I rocked the ball, my son wanted the toy. He doesn't usually make his requests so known and ended up with an early birthday present. When the backboard crowd cheers, he stops and claps along. My son is a happy child and this toy adds to it. He swings his bat and hit the ball and has a good time.
