    First Alert didn't alert I am very pleased with the product even has a DVD to give information and helpful to operate.I installed one alarm in my home and the other in my attached garage but the alarm in the garage does not signal to the alarm in the home.When placed in home and basement they perform just as expected. 02/25/2011
