Not what I expected I had thought the guitar would be made out of an inexpensive wood, it was not. It's plastic. It doesn't sound right and no amount of tuning on the planet will make it sound better. My daughter spent the very last bit of her birthday money on it, she enjoys playing it....and I guess that is what matters. 10/02/2011
SMALLSMALLSMALL When I ordered this guitar, I took the 30" measurement a little too seriously. When it says this is appropriate for ages 7-15, I think they are accounting for very small children because when this arrived, it was really too small for my 9 year old. I had assumed this was a 3/4 guitar based on the measurements, but its really smaller than a 1/2. The thing is 30" long if you measure it while it is in its box. I think this product is more suited for children between 5-10 years old than 7-15. It is a decent value for $30, but its not what I would call a tremendous value as it is very undersized and if I let my daughter start playing on it, she may not be comfortable playing a full size later, so I have to seriously think about wether I will keep it or give it to a smaller person. Like, perhaps a dwarf teenager. 09/15/2011
