Rated 2 out of 5★ by TANGO4 Design is great, Manufacturing stinks. I purchased this pack to carry laptop and text books for school. The size was about right for everything and the foldout functionality of the main compartment was appealing. The problem with the pack is with the straps. The stitching is of poor quality, and the reinforcement of the area is inadequate. The second day of use the stitching began to fail, I have resewn the strap area and it is holding, for now. Don't purchase this product with out getting a needle and some heavy duty thread to immediately reinforce the shoddy seams. 09/18/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Endangered Good Pack Using this pack as a hiking bag. Very big and has many pockets to keep gear organized. The quality control is a little shoddy. One of my bottom straps was coming undone but its nothing a little sewing can take care of. Another idea would be to reinforce the straps with more thread and change out the zipper pulls with 550 cord. 09/19/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by MrMotivations Fieldline's Largest Alpha Pack Based on the effectiveness of the smaller pack, cost, utility, design, quality, I decided to get the larger bag as well, ordering it on line as it was not in store at that date. However, I've noticed it now is. Essentially the larger version of the day pack, this bag is considerably larger in capacity, same quality construction, and the internal frame bar makes the difference. Too big for airline carry on (the small one qualifies for under seat based on its combined linear inch dimension of 45 or less) it is nevertheless comfortable with the hip belt and adjustable stermun straps. I like the inclusion of the molle strapping on the outside to increase versatility, as I use this bag to carry photographic equipment as well as necessities for a day outing. Compared to other bags I have studied, or owned, this bag is an outstanding value. 10/03/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by BagMan123 Just like the 5.11 bag for much less I was looking for a new tactical bag for a while but they are so dang expensive. I came upon this one at walmart and was very pleased with the design. I looked online and found that the 5.11 Rush 72 is the exact same bag. Im cannot compare the quality of materials and stitching between the two because I do not have the 5.11 bag. However, the quality of this bag seems very very good. My only complaint is that they should have put a rubber bottom or double reinforced material on the bottom of the bag to keep it from wearing out. That being said maybe the material used on the bottom will hold up just fine...I don't know because I just bought it. But for the price you can buy about 4 of these bags for the price of the one 5.11 bag. I am very pleased with my purchase. 10/31/2012

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Infantry11B 11B - 4 days pack Execellent Pack - during my recent drill (MUTA 7 = 3 nights out), I was able to pack - 1 complete pair of ACUs, 3 extra shirts, underwears, 3 pairs of cold weather socks, a set of gortex for extreme cold weather, a Fuzy, Poncho, 2 8x10 tarps, Full battle, Puss mat and a folding chair. I was able to attach my sleeping bag to the pack. Great exterior, made to last. I want to say I probably carried more than 65 lbs on this pack. I rucked like a champ. no problems at all. If it wasn't to full, I would had been able to put my water system inside the straps compartment. Not only I would recommend this bag, but I am looking to purchasing an extra one. 02/14/2014
