Rated 4 out of 5 Good price, good shredder. I had wanted to get an 11 sheet shredder, but decided to save some money and get the 6 sheet one. 5 sheets and you can hear it straining a little. Had one small jam already but otherwise has done a very good job. 04/24/2011

The cross cut shredding was a must... (with identity theft on the rise). It's heavier than what I thought it would be but not an issue. The most I've tried shredding at at time is about 4 sheets and it handled w/o a problem. I shred everything from junk mail to anything that contains personal information.I would recommend this shredder to anyone. 04/05/2011

The ad says the shredder will handle up to 7 sheets of paper, the box and info with shredder says 6 sheets.Other than the window in front I see no indicator that will tell me the shredder is full even though the ad says there is an indicator.And my biggest complaint is that it is advertised as being virtually silent. Had hoped the bottom would slide out but instead you have to take the top part off which is a little heavy. It's shorter than I expected. Basket small. If you want something compact, it's fine.
