About this item
"Feeding The Masses" - In a nation dominated by mass media manipulation, rampant consumerism and a brainwashing government, a zombie epidemic known as the Lazarus Virus is bringing the recently deceased back to life. As the dead feed upon the living, Channel 5 TV News feeds its audience a false picture of the danger, death and doom that is close at hand. The station's lead anchorwoman learns of a government-mandated broadcast blackout of all walking dead news and live footage, so she enlists the help of her trusted cameraman and a demented military guard to spread the word any way they can. With the truth on their side and flesh-hungry monsters gathering in numbers and strength, the trio must warn unsuspecting citizens about the nightmare at their doorsteps...before it's too late. "Creature From The Hillbilly Lagoon" - There's something big and something hungry living in the murky depths of secluded Hillbilly Lagoon...and it walks on land. Following a toxic spill, science students from the state university are sent in to test the waters for contamination. They are immediately set upon by insane and inbred locals who don't take kindly to strangers nosing about their town and beloved lagoon. But that's the least of their worries when a hulking humanoid borne of radioactive mutation ascends from the inky blackness to fill in lungs with air and its stomach with human bait. "Necroville" - Fired from their jobs as video store clerks, two slackers must wage war on the living dead just to earn a living wage in a town overrun by zombies, vampires and werewolves. Described by the Albuquerque Press as "if Kevin Smith wrote 'Ghostbusters'," "Necroville" follows long time friends Jack and Alex as they become members of the local extermination company, Zom-B-Gone, only to discover that even ravenous hordes of the undead pale in comparison to the horrors of Jack's nightmare girlfriend. "Splatter Disco" - Kent Chubb thinks life couldn't possibly get any worse when the mayor, his sociopath mother (Lynn Lowry), and the city council threaten to close down his nightclub Den O' Iniquity for "acts of perversion." Enlisting the help of his father, Shank Chubb (Ken Foree), Kent and club regulars attempt to educate the town to the community service function of the club: providing a safe and welcoming environment for all the oddball local citizens. Little do they know a serial killer has begun to pick off club employees one by one, and now even Kent's acid-flashback-prone hippie attorney can't help them out of this bloody mess...or keep his eyes off Kent's gorgeous wife (Debbie Rochon).
