Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price for solid ammunition. I am not going to rate the actual ammunition, since that is merely my opinion. Personally, although the .223 is generally cheaper I like to run ammunition at spec, which is the 5.56 for my AR-15 gun. This ammo is Mil-Spec (meets military specifications). Walmart usually has the lowest prices for ammunition, but the variety is low and stocked ammo consists of generic/popular types. The only downside to this ammunition is that it is not regularly stocked and many times it is locked away under the gun counter, rather than in the ammunition case. Take the SKU in with you so an associate can look up the ammo and locate it. Safe shooting. 08/30/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but Great ammo at a great price but they sure can't keep it in stock. I have 14 Walmarts close by me and they all carry it but none of them have it in stock for over two months. Frustrating. 09/09/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just an FYI. Bought 2 cans at my local store thinking it was XM855 ammo, but ended up being XM193 rounds (55gr & no stripper clips) and it was slight LESS than the XM855. still great ammo. So if you want the 62gr XM855, look at the labeling before buying, no returns on ammo. 09/23/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by DO NOT mistake these for the green tip ! These are not green tip federal rounds. These are quality brass,FMJ at a ok price and comes with an ammo can! 09/24/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The can's I purchased are XM855-62 gr on stripper clips. I was told they would have more in a week or two. 09/26/2012
