better descriptions needed headboard is made of small metal tubes that you put together to make shape for a headboard. then you slip a thin cover over the shape. with your own screws you attatch the headboard to your bedframe.it should be easy to add your own batting to make the headboard look more full.headboard is very light. better description would have influenced my purchase. 02/28/2011
Good value for the price... It's definitely the least expensive upholstered headboard I could find. Easy set up! It does come rolled up like the other review mentioned, but when you slip it over the metal bars the wrinkles smooth out instantly! Doesn't have the kind of cushion I was hoping for, but it LOOKS nice! Also, hardware was not provided, so my husband had to get creative. 03/02/2011
LOOKS GREAT When i received the head board, it was rolled up i almost returned it right then but im so glad i tried it first, very easy to put together, and it looks awesome, high end, im so happy i did not return it!!! Dont be upset by packaging, take it home put it up you'll love it!!!!! 02/12/2011
It did what I wanted it to do.. give me a black headboard and make my mattress look like a real bed. However, if you are looking at comfort --this isn't for you. I wish there was more foaming but it's pretty much slim suede fabric that looks like a headboard. 06/07/2011
