Farberware Softgrip 3-Piece Cutlery Set 3 3
Pretty, but not functional I bought these knives with the hope that the chef's knife would out-perform my extremely dull 10 year old Hamilton Beach 8" chef's knife. Sadly, these knives did not deliver. Snazzy looking, yes, and the soft grip handles were comfy, but they were sorely lacking in performance. The blades were very thin and flexible, and the overall weight of the chef's knife in particular was too light. For these reasons, they were not at all suitable for the type of cooking I do on a daily basis in my home kitchen. I would not recommend these to anyone. 02/02/2010
Wonderful This is the best knife set that I've ever come across. They cut through anything; fruits, veggies, bread, meat...etc, like butter. This knife set was worth it, no doubt. 11/26/2009
Know what type of knife you want, BEFORE you buy! The two basic types of knives are Forged and Stamped. This set consist of FORGED type knives. This type of knife is excellent when you do everyday cutting AND also for delicate task. These are the best knives for these duties that I have found. They are very visually attractive as well. 12/24/2010
