Rated 1 out of 5 by crezzy Doesn't cook the waffle! I really wish I had read the reviews before impulse-buying this waffle iron. I bought and returned the first one because the waffles never got fully cooked. The second one cooks the waffles, but it takes a really long time, even on the hottest setting, and the waffles do not get crispy. Just a floppy, sad waffle. We cooked them in the iron, then popped them in our toaster - but who has time for that? 05/08/2013

It did not heat up properly and even after I let my waffles cook for 11 mins they still looked kinda blah. They tasted okay but I don't want "okay" .. I want crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The locking feature in the front makes it hard to open, perhaps great for storing but not for cooking. I returned this one. 05/19/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by dinito would not heat up tried this wafflemaker twice. both times on dark setting. would not get crispy waffles. tried longer preheat 30 minutes and 11 minutes on dark setting and could not get a crispy waffle. 04/30/2013
