Better than expected!!! My mother owned a set of Farberware knives for 25 years, so I didn't even hesitate to purchase this set for my own home. It looks fantastic in my kitchen, the knives cut smoothly (as long as you are using the right one for the job) and the storage block is convienent so they are always at my fingertips when I need them. The steak knives look great on the dinner table and the contored handles make them comfortable and easy to use. You have to hand-wash and dry them to avoid rusting, but that's fine with me. You have to take care of things if you want them to last a while! A great buy! 12/26/2008

well done I just bought these for my wifes Christmas present and love them.The color is attractive,they are well made,are not cheaply made,and since they are made in china the cost is less.Now I want the utility knife and bread knife sold seperately at walmart to go with this set.The lifetime warranty is a plus too.One warning don't wash in the dishwasher,occassional rust spots could occur,but if you take care to polish and clean they will last a long time. 12/02/2008
Awesome Knife Set I'm new to cooking, so I was excited when I saw these knives. I wanted nothing else, and I'm so glad I went with these. They are very nice, beautiful knives. They are everything I expected and more. The picture doesn't compare to what the product is. Heavy-duty, not flimsy or shaky, and they cut, slice and dice perfectly. I've never been so excited to cut potatoes, lettuce and tomatoes before, and I look for any reason or excuse to use them. I recommend these to anyone who wants a gorgeous, well worth it knife set. 11/15/2008
