Rated 2 out of 5★ by eordzo1 A royal pain to put together, & the color is off This stool isn't bad once you finally get it together, but the process of getting there is another story. The instructions start out saying, "This is a generic drawing..." That alone should tell you something. Next, they tell you to secure the base to the seat back, but they don't tell you what screws/ washers to use. The lack of instruction goes on from there. When they said, "Some assembly required," they should have said, "Set aside at least 2-3 hours per stool for assembly." In addition, the wood stain is darker in person than in the picture provided. If you are attempting to match this stool to existing furniture, the picture just won't due, and this item is not carried in stores. Not a bad stool if you have the time and patience to figure out the instructions included, or you don't mind the color being way darker than the picture, but I would recommend you use this stool as a last resort. It's hard to believe the original manufacturer price on this was $299! 09/12/2012

When the box came I opened it up and pulled the seat cushion out to look at it before I took anything else out of the box. It is very small. It measured just at 17" wide - most stools are at least 18"-21" wide. Given the size of the cushion, I can't recommend it for use by anyone other than a child or a young teenager. 09/02/2013
