Yes they are sewed on the side and inseam.

The cuffs are simply tacked at the seams. I let the cuffs out, pressed the creases, and re-hemmed the shorts to lengthen them. The bottom edge is serged, so it's not raw, but it will have to be at least turned under and stitched to look presentable.

No, the specific color belt you see for each pair is the color that you get for that pair. You unfortunately don't have the option to choose your belt color.

I do not believe they give you the choice in belt color.

I would say they are more of a straight cut. I am a little more curvy, and they are a little tight around my hips but not uncomfortably so.

I'm not overly curvy, and they fit me nicely. That said, the shorts have enough give from the spandex that a lady with a little "junk in the trunk" would be able to wear them too. One thing I'll say is that the thighs are cut rather slim, so ladies with larger thighs might want to take a pass.

As they appear to be too small I'm thinking they are slim cut.

Since Walmart doesn't sell size 2s and precious few XSs, I was thrilled to discover that these shorts run small! I bought them in a few colors, and they wash up well. I don't like such short shorts, so I let out the cuffs, pressed out the creases, and re-hemmed them to gain almost 2" in length.

Do size up, and do be aware that the thighs are cut on the slim side.

They run small, luckily for me

I really like these shorts. They are comfortable they move with you and they seem true to size. Love love love these shorts

Love these shorts!!

I really love the quality and value of Faded Glory shorts, but I do agree with other reviewers in that the sizing is a bit off this year. I had to go up one size in these shorts. I do still recommend them though because they are very cute and affordable and come with a belt! I will probably end up buying another pair. You can't go wrong with these cute shorts!

Cute but size up!

These are cute shorts but they fit a little snug. I took them back and got a size bigger. Overall, I am happy with the shorts.

I like them overall

I can usually rely on Faded Glory for accuracy on sizes but these shorts were a smidgen too small. The first time I've come across this issue with Faded Glory. Otherwise the material and entire product are great.

Great Shorts

These are very cute, well woth the money. I wore a size 12 in Fadey Glory last summer, lost 10 lbs, tried on the old shorts, too big! Yea! Bought these in a size 10, they are more like a 6 or 8, don't like having to return items that are the makers fault.

Why change sizing?

I love these a lot. Had purchased some in Walmart last year.
I guess they've made them differently.
Now the fit is Tighter. Had to go up a whole size. Material is not quite as soft as the older ones.

Cute jean shorts

The price of these shorts was alright, but like most of Faded Glory's clothes, the material is getting thinner, and the sizes are no longer running the same. In fact, they are running about 2 sizes smaller. I have shorts from this brand last year that were made 2 sizes smaller, and the size i bought bigger on purpose fits just like the smaller ones. :( oh well. Hopefully we will get our companies back to make our clothes for this country. Hope I don't offend anyone.

good value, bad design

I bought the same size as I did last year. Last year's still fit perfectly. These are way smaller- about 2 sizes. What the heck is up with that??? And it's not just a "mis-sizing" issue- I bought 3 pair at the same time, and they all fit the same way- TOO SMALL. Very disappointed in Walmart with these- can't very well claim "good value" or "good overall quality" when the "fit accuracy" and "meets expectations" parts are so very poor. The style would have been great, had they fit.

Way smaller than last year's.....

I ordered 4 pairs of shorts, all the same size. All of them fit, except for this pair. It was too small, so I must size up. It is extremely frustrating when you order your size and they're not all uniform.. That is the point of knowing your size in the first place.
