Rated 1 out of 5★ by Craftsmanship is awful. I have purchased two pairs of the Faded Glory Men's Marvin casual shoes. The first split across the sole of the shoe. It started with a small crack on the side and within a month the shoe was literally being torn in half. This happened to both shoes of that set. I then purchased another pair because I did not want to jump to conclusions; however, my second pair today, from the right shoes, separated the sole from the shoe body. 01/14/2014

Rated 1 out of 5★ by Stay away from these shoes I bought two pair (Marvin 2 FG casual) on 7/26/13. I had been buying Dr. Scholl's shoes of nearly the same style but haven't found them at Walmart anymore so I tried Faded Glory. The Dr. Scholl's shoes would last me roughly 8 - 12 months. This seemed like a short time to me but the price was cheap so I put up with needing new shoes every year. I couldn't find the Dr. Scholl's in the type and size I wore so I tried Faded Glory since the price was good too. My first pair only lasted until early October (just over 2 months before the heel and seam were damaged to the point of becoming unwalkable and unsafe). The second pair is already showing signs of the same problem as the 1st pair. They are developing a crack on the right shoe towards the front of the heel on the outside starting from the top of the heel at the seam with the shoe and extending nearly all the way through the heel to the bottom of the shoe. The old pair had developed this crack that went through the heel then the heel started to separate from the upper portion of the shoe and the leather separated from shoe at the stitching where the heel had separated. Since it is only happening to the right foot on both pairs, I don't know if it is related to how I position my foot while driving but in any event a pair of shoes (even if they only cost $20) should last more than 2 months before falling apart. 11/22/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by These Faded Glory Men's Marvin casual shoe,is a very good buy! leather quality is great,a great fit,and a very comfortable shoe! 09/19/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Good work shoes Very good work shoes. I am hard on shoes. I am large 6'4", 210lbs. These are very good work shoes. Non-scuffing soles don't leave black streaks on floors, but heavy duty for hard work. Good arch support. Nice finish. Very good water shedding performance. Only problem, I can't buy more...on-line only has 7.5 and 8.5...I need 12! 10/05/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good shoe for most purposes As soon as I tried these on, it was clear the insoles would not be comfortable for more than a couple hours. Perhaps this is because I weigh 260 pounds and the feeble insoles just collapse under my weight. I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholl's and all is great. I can now be on my feet all day with these. The tops of the shoes did develop small cracks where the toes bend but this happens on a good many shoes. The soles provide support and traction much like a work boot. 03/18/2014
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Good For The Price. The Faded Glory is starting to get much better as far as quality goes. They've made a lot of improvements as far as their clothing is concerned. The casual shoes are pretty much what you would expect for them. Basic look for a work shoe but good considering the price. The only issue I have with these is that they won't last very long. Shoes should last at least a year, not a couple of months. If you really want a good casual work shoe, go for the George brand version of them. They're only 6 bucks more and they look much better. However, if you want something that's basic and have a job where the shoes won't go through a lot of wear and tear, there is nothing wrong with these. 08/14/2014
