These pants are great for school. My son has problems with fine motor skills, zipping and buttoning, so the elastic waist is perfect.

Best Special Needs Pants!

My son has sensory processing issues and these pants are soft and loose enough and easy to pull on and take off.I have purchased a dozen + pair in various sizes. I hemmed them then let out the hems as he grew taller because the waist still fits. He was wearing a size 6/7 when he was six and seven, and now he is eight and can still wear them. He goes through 3-4 a year, and I patch the knees and had to iron on a patch to the inside of the rear because he does a lot of sliding. The fabric is a bit thin to start with and as it ages, it's easy to wear holes in the knees. But for the price, the fabric, fit, elastic waist, etc they accommodate him perfectly. I buy the denim, and have purchased one of the twill which is much, much stronger, and don't expect to be patching those. I hope they don't ever discontinue them!!!

Great Pants

My son is a husky kid, especially around the waist. It is often hard to find pants that fit right. Even some of the stores that sell husky sizes, the husky is not much bigger than the regular size. These are easy to put on and take off. Becasue I'm buying 14/16 for a 10 yr old, they are a tad bit long, but work out fine when wearing sneakers. You can't beat the price. I'd probably pay 5 times as much at a specialty kids store. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Love this brand and style. Found the jeans originally in the stores but they stopped carrying them so I really liked they offered them online. Color is good as well as the quality. Like that they are pull on (rather than snap/button).

  • A. I'm petite and bought them for myself. 5'2 100 lbs. I bought the XL. 14-16. I'm not into skinny or straight leg pants. I'm sorry, they just look terrible IMO. I was desperate to find boot cut or wide leg pants in a pull on style. I have PCOS so the elastic waist is more comfortable, and my weight goes up and down. I buy fleece pants in girls' sometimes but wanted more variety. It's almost impossible to find casual pants in petite sizes in styles I'd actually wear. I dress androgynously so I love this style. I pair them with thermal shirts. They are a bit long but they shrink up a bit in the wash. They don't have as much room in the hip area as women's obviously, but I'm not hippy so they're not too bad. I can still get a pair of thermal pants underneath. Though, I've had other boys' pants that were not so narrow. I got 2 colors. Wish I'd gotten more.

  • A. These pants hit at the ankles for my child. I have a girl. Other camo (girl) pants that we have looked at have been skinny jeans. We did not want a skinny jean for camo pants. I bought another camo pant from another store and the cargo style fit her great and looked great.
