I just had mine sent to me from Wal-Mart via email. Apparently they haven't sent theirs out with the game on time. Other stores, however, have. I would check your e-mail associated with your Wal-Mart account. It should be there.

A few days after I received the game, Wal-Mart sent me the code in an e-mail.

I got the code in an email the weekend after the game released. It stated it was a mistake that it wasnt included.

The code should have came with the game. If you Pre-ordered the game at a retail store it may have been on the receipt.

Great Addition

Fable 3 is truly a wonderful adventure. It will keep you guessing until the end. You will be amazed at how the game uses every decision you make. It's exciting how the game changes as you change. Whether you like action, adventure, or RPG games you will enjoy this game. Truly a magnificent game. Take my advice, buy it and you'll love it.

Amazing

This is a great game with a wonderful storyline. It follows a the fable fabric with some, in my opinion, great improvements. The only drawback to this title is you don't accumulate cash while you're not playing as in the previous game, but the map and buying/repairing process is much clearer as well as easier. Large improvement over fable 2!!!

I pre-ordered the standard edition of Fable III from Wal-mart and I am completely satisfied with the game itself. I recieved it on time and it came with everything I expected except for one thing:

The Villager Maker Pre-Order Code

A few days later Wal-Mart sent me an e-mail saying there was an "error" and that the codes were not shipped with the game. They instead gave me a code to use in the same e-mail. I code to use this code at the Fable III Villager Maker on the Xbox Live website and it tells me that the code is "Invalid or Already in Use"

I call Xbox Live Support and they tell me this is a common complaint. They direct me to the Lionhead Studios website to post on a forum concerning this issue. It is very clear that this is a very large problem concerning mostly WAL-MART issued codes.

I would STRONGLY suggest that Wal-Mart do something, possiblly involving Lionhead Studios, to fix this problem.

Invalid Villager Maker Codes

Decent addition to the fable series. It will take you countless hours to unlock everything if you're one of those people. So have fun killing hobbes, hollowmen, mercs, and the like.

Great time killer

It's so much fun! There's a TON of places to explore, the world is HUGE. The big differences between this game and the first 2 are that you earn points to get new abilities & powers by interacting with people, the world is gigantic, there's not a lot of screens with item lists and there's not a bunch of lists of interactions with people (usually just 2 or 3 choices). I've only been playing a few hours but I think this game is going to be really long (I like that)- but I'm the kind of gamer that likes to find every thing & every treasure before I move on to the main objective (and there are a lot treasures, hidden in extensive caves & whatnot). The biggest difference would be that there is a main room you can warp back to whenever you want- to save your game, check your stats & achievements, change clothes, join with other people's games, etc. Also in the main room you can go to a map and just click where in the world you want to go, instead of having to walk or take a carriage there like in fable 2.

SO overall I really like this game! It has a way of sucking you in & 'taking you away' and you just feel like you're in the world. Definitely a fun way to use my free time.

I love it!

I'm not that far into the game, but it looks like it might be a lot shorter than Fable 2. If you've already played Fable 2, than you're already familiar with a lot of the features in Fable 3.
I think that Lionhead Studios designed this game more for people who have never played any of the Fable games and attempted to make it easier for people to learn the mechanics.
The storyline is interesting, but too much of the same material within gameplay leaves a little to be desired for a hardcore fan.

Good, but too similar to Fable 2

Fable II was immensely popular because it contained one of the most rich, colorful, alluring worlds that had ever been created. Fable III was what I believe a slightly failed attempt to hurl gamers into that same unforgettable style of playing that they had previously come to love. A good example of their obvious effort was the fact that any weapons, resources, and information that you ever needed in the game were given to you, making it somewhat boring. To be fair, the game incorporated new concepts, good voice-acting, and a stimulating enviroment, but the plot was too predictable and the game practically played itself when it came to difficulty. For $20, Fable III was worth it. Anything more and you would be better off borrowing it from a friend.

A slight disappointment

I joined the franchise with fable II which i thought was a terrific game. Fell in love with it. I only had to wait a few months until the release of fable 3 and thought that day would never come. Was disappointed in the quests overall. Didn't seem to be as many and not as in depth as i would have liked. There are some new additions i did like though. Like having to maintain your real estate and not having to revive the dog after battle. I realize now that they will have add on quests that will make this game longer as it seemed very short. But in truth not as good as fable II. But enjoyable none the less

not all that hyped up to be

graphics worse then falbe2, glitchy dog and navigation trail, can only interact with one villager at a time and you cannot pick your expressions, you have to exit interactions, less outfits, less hair, poor map, one hit kill combat, nothing interrupts spell casts, bosses are stupid easy, no trolls, you can complete the story quests in an afternoon, all the jobs (pie, lute, blacksmith) are the exact same just press A or X, still long load times that make you never want to leave an area, no head shots, you can't turn off your safety and kill villagers whenever you want, this game is incomplete yet priced at new.

you will hate the limitations in this game, you will hate how short it is, you will hate how easy the combat is, and you will hate what happens to your albion once you beat it.

fml for paying for this phoned in game, just replay fable 2 it is far better then this third episode in the series.
