You can wash them in the machine in cold water. It says not to put them in a dryer. But, I did it anyway. And, I found no issue in doing so. I wasn't about to have underpants drying all over my house and I have no clothesline to hang them on.

The tag says hand wash, line dry. I personally do the washer on cool/warm, and lay out flat, or dry on air only, they dry very quickly.

Tag says hand wash cold. Wash darks separately. Do not bleach. Line dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. My black ones I wash in cold water with my other darks and machine dry, I haven&#39;t had any problems. My white ones I put in hot water with bleach in the machine with my other whites, I found that they stretch out - most likely due to the bleach.

Fabric Material is: 70% Nylon and 30% Elastane. Crotch lining is 100% Cotton.

As far as firm support goes, I would say NO, it does not give enough firm support. It did not suck in my lower tummy as I had hoped, but it smoothed everything else out (my behind). I weigh 15 lbs more than I want, so the lower tummy area became a problem for me. I am 5'5" 130 lbs, hips are about 38" and waist is 30". I went up 2 pant sizes, I am not used to being at this size, so buying clothes has been tricky for me. Anyway, I bought these "Get the Skinny" Boy Shorts in a size Medium and not a Small, like I should have in the first place. I am not convinced that it will make any difference. I will have to get a different style with longer thigh and higher waist. I need more coverage and stronger support around my problem lower tummy area. I will get a size Small next time :-)

It is a nylon, it doesn't support like a girdle but it does give some support. It is enough for everyday.

What fabric or fabrics is this made of? And does it give firm support?

try the bigger sizes, i've got a 29" waist, slim hips and wear the 2XL! they fit me just like online picture.

I really love these Boy Shorts Shapewear! It was recommended I wear "Spanx or a girdle" after my c-section by my doctor. Went to Walmart and happened to find these! Black, White and Nude. I only purchased the black and white ones. My doctor said I should look for a medium. He wanted me to have support. The first ones I purchased in the store are very comfortable. The ones I ordered online were on the smaller side (extremely tight). I love the ones I purchased at the store... they hold my stomach in and are so comfy! I suggest you get your size or a size larger if you are in between sizes. I would always make sure you try each one on.

I like the boy shorts because they support my stomach and do not cover my upper legs. They are a good deal and very well made! They say hand-wash...you can put them in the washer just make sure you wash them in cold water on the delicate cycle, low spin and hang dry. Hope this helps! Have a great day!

This replaces Flexees 3017 which has been discontinued.  I am so glad Walmart is carrying 83017.  It has the same fit and control as the more expensive Flexxee.  I am vey glad to have found this replacement.

I came across these while traveling for business in a Walmart in Truth or Consequences, NM and loved them!. I tried my local Walmart once I got home to purchase a couple more and did not find them. So I looked on line and there they were! Shipping is a little slow, but overall very happy with my purchase through Walmart.

Great purchase

"Perfect" is the best description I can give. No panty lines, even under leggings. Smooth lifting rear which looks great. Top doesn't roll down but stays put at the waist. The fabric is a perfect stretch that is comfortable at the same time holding you in. I don't even feel like I am wearing undies. I wear a size 6-8 and have no waistline and a long torso, I had tried a medium first, but decided that the xl was a bit more comfy for me, so I would advise that the sizing is up to the wearer on the fit they need or prefer. You will not find a more comfortable "hold you in" pair of underware. I also wear Flexees, Maidenform one piece shapewear as well regularly. It took me years and tons of money trying to find the perfect under clothing to wear, then finally Maidenform did it for me. I will only purchase from this company from now on because I know whatever I am in need for it will always be "soft and comfy and do what I want it to".

As others suggested, I ordered one size up. I'm a medium, and ordered a large and it fits well. However I would prefer a longer thigh length, so I will be returning the 2nd pair I ordered.

This has very good control, i normally wear a medium so thats what i ordered.
Only downfall for ME, it rolls a bit on top. It hits right above the belly button. I wish i had bought the higher one that sits AT the ribcage. 
But i have a long torso. Its a great product and does the job

Invisible control

These really are a "firm support" underpant. I purchased according to the size chart and got an XL. They are very tight and firm. They did not loosen up as I wore them all day. So, they never loose their shape or support.

They do flatten the stomach. However, in doing so, they create a bit of a muffin top, if you have any middle weight. What I found surprising is how they supported my lower back and ended up being a comfort in that aspect.

The legs do roll up, unfortunately. It's not very uncomfortable but it creates a lump so you no longer get a smooth look under your jeans.

They are very well-made. And, I love the fabric. It's a silky smooth stretchy nylon fabric. So, if you're looking for a well-made shaper underpant, I think these are the most comfortable of what I've experienced so far. But, they are FIRM!

It is mostly to pull in the lower stomach, but excess fat will bulge where waist band ends at top. Pant legs ride up slightly
